Charlotte Savary

Charlotte Savary is a French singer-songwriter with widely acclaimed talent. Gifted with a distinctive vocal tone marked by a light, fast vibrato, she explores a wide range of styles – pop, folk, electro, hip-hop and jazz – and sings in both French and English. From the very start of her career, Charlotte has been involved in several influential musical projects. She is best known for her long-standing collaboration with Wax Tailor, the French trip-hop project. Since they first met during the recording of the album World’s End Lane with the band Clover in 2004, she has appeared on all of Wax Tailor’s albums, contributing to standout tracks such as “Our Dance”, “Seize the Day” and “The Games You Play”. Her lyrics are praised for their poetry and their ability to weave powerful emotional narratives. Beyond Wax Tailor, Charlotte has created several other projects. With Philippe Chevallier, she formed the folk duo Felipecha and released the albums De fil en aiguille (2008) and Les Lignes de Fuite (2011). She also shone as a solo artist with her album Seasons in 2016, an intimate exploration of love and the seasons of life. In 2020, she launched SEYES with Marine Thibault, blending genres on the album Beauty Dies. Her artistic journey also includes contributions to a variety of projects, such as Queens of the Stone Age covers with Olivier Libaux and the short-lived project Meeting Point, a mix of Afro-jazz, pop and electro. Charlotte was also a key member of Télépopmusik, enriching the band with her voice and lyrics from 2004 to 2019. Her solo work continues to evolve with projects such as Illuminations and Digger’s Daughter, where she combines acoustic sensitivity with captivating melodies.
